So the whole family went in and got eye exams this week because X needed to find out his prescription and Mom needed to get her prescription updated. We decided to get mine checked while we were at it. I've never had any problems with my vision but if I was going to have to be there all evening I might as well get checked. I've done the eye charts at the doctor before but never a full examine so what the hell. Just as expected X needs reading glasses and Mom has had to move up to bifocals. Not as expected, I am farsighted in my right eye and PRACTICALLY BLIND IN MY LEFT!  How could none of the doctors ever noticed before. They always test to right eye first and I just memorize the chart. So by the time they test my left eye I just say the same thing I said for my right eye. My right eye has learned to work double and compensate so I never thought anything was wrong. Stupid overachieving cyclops child.
