Week 2

Week 2 of the Daisy Project...

Today we played around downtown in the nice chilly weather.  My hands were numb as was her face by the time we called it quits.  I had to inform a carload of male people that she was jailbait and thus to stop making catcalls at her at the stop light.   Another guy asked if he could make her his profile pic on Facebook.  Men are strange.  And perverts.  I know they were talking to her and not me because I had on Mom jeans, a floppy purple hat with a big yellow bow and  no make up.

This is my favorite!!

Boys are embarassing

My husband enjoys embarassing the kids.  Makes it his life's mission sometimes. Just ask poor Brandon ,  Daisy's fellow.  When we first acquired Greg,  he would try to out Xander Xander and usually succeeded  Daisy and I spent a lot of time literally laying in floor laughing our stomachs sore.

Back in December after a horrendous day at work for both of us plus that was the day the brakes on my car locked up and required EVERYTHING related to brakes to be replaced, we were out to eat at Chili's and since said day had been such a beast, Greg had no more cares to give.  He and Xander were bickering back and forth and suddenly, Greg dumps a bowl of salsa into his beer mug and chugs it. Both kids got up and left the restaurant.

Yesterday we went out to eat at Xander's favorite Chinese buffet.  The majority of the meal was spent with him bugging the everloving crap out of Daisy. It culminated in him dumping salt and pepper in her ice cream.  Greg suggested adding soy sauce.  I suggested X now eat it since he ruined her dessert. And with Greg egging him on, he stuck his face in the bowl and lapped it up.  And of course, Greg took advantage of this and pushed his entire face in the bowl.

Ana instantly jumped up and ran a few tables away because #1 X has the weakest gag reflex I have ever seen (he has decorated more tables and sidewalks than I really want to remember) and #2 pretty sure she did not want to be associated with us.

So who wants to go out to eat with us next time??

Day 1

So my BAYBEE is going off to college in the Fall of 2016 and I am not ready. Yes I am aware that is a solid 18 months from now but MY BAYBEE!!
Hard to believe she is 17 and getting ready to start her "real" life. I used to blog all the time when she was little and since she loves to reread all the adventure she and her brother had, we decided to start here, documenting the happenings until she is off to college.
And since she just HATES having her picture taken, we are going to do lots of fun photo shoots.
Oh Hai... just chillin on this bridge..
Looking for birdies
You are too young to be giving that look, young lady!
^^She's got gas.
